BDS Mechanical is looking for experienced Auto Electricians to work with our existing BDS team.

The position will involve general servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of trucks European and American, trailers & 4×4’s.

Your duties will include:

Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.
Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system.
Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
Servicing of electrical automotive parts

To be considered for this position you must have:

Relevant Trade Qualifications
Heavy and medium truck & trailer repair experience
High level of technical ability & knowledge
Reliable transport – with HR/C licence an advantage
Must have own hand tools

BDS Mechanical is looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team.

The position will involve general servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of trucks European and American, trailers & 4×4’s.

Your duties will include:

Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist

To be considered for this position you must have:

Relevant Trade Qualification
Valid license
Diagnostic experience
Good communication skills
Strong fault finding skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
